This ongoing project focuses on religious institutions within the United States aiming to question the disagreements among various points of view.

All living things are made up of 92 naturally occurring elements.  This scientific constant is the distance from which each of these images is made.  Walking approximately 92 paces “toward Jerusalem” via a directional compass and then looking back, I focus my camera on each location and click the shutter.  Later an intervention is performed upon prints made from a series when an independent viewer is asked to shoot a magazine of 45 caliber bullets into the image, creating physical scars.

The project contemplates the opposition in thought and belief people of various religions and scientific beliefs have when discussing the details inherent to each. The bullet holes symbolize the disagreements people make in each theory.
